In today’s world, even highly secure offices like police stations confront the chance of potential attacks. Recognizing and detecting prohibited things during the personal examination of arrested individuals can be challenging. These items may include firearms, knives, mobile phones, drugs, alcohol, explosives, and other dangerous objects. Arrested people may conceal such items in hard-to-reach places and hidden body cavities such as the mouth, stomach, or rectum. To safeguard workers and visitors from potential threats, it is prudent to utilize specialized personal search tools like X-ray scanners. These police X-ray scanners can effectively detect prohibited and hazardous items both externally and internally on the human body.
The initial hours following a terrorist attack are crucial as they present an opportune time to identify potential suspects. Law enforcement organizations may confront challenges in physically examining a huge number of individuals, creating opportunities for terrorists or criminals to evade detection. Portable X-ray screening scanners mounted on vans can be swiftly deployed to the site, enabling rapid scanning of a significant number of people. In today’s world, even heavily fortified facilities like military bases and police stations are vulnerable to attacks.
Military bases, whether temporary or permanent, require improved security and watchfulness. They must be arranged to identify dangers such as enemy incursions or terrorist attacks in order to safeguard assets, supply lines, and troops. Forward operating bases play a critical role in military missions, serving as a launching point for operations, managing supply lines, and providing essential support services. Our security solutions also benefit naval dockyards and ports by enhancing security measures for ocean carriers and early detection of suspicious activities. Early detection of threats allows captains to alert Coast Guard or Navy patrols promptly, expanding the chances of evading potential dangers. Military air bases are crucial centers for reaching distant destinations during missions, making them susceptible to both symmetrical and asymmetrical attacks.
X-ray security scanner machines offer several benefits for enhancing security at police stations, military bases, and special operations:
Compliance with security standards: utilizing military and police X-ray security scanners helps these high-security facilities comply with security standards and protocols set by regulatory bodies and government agencies. This demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a secure environment for personnel, assets, and sensitive information.
Operational Efficiency: police X-ray solutions streamline the security screening process, enabling security personnel to focus on other critical tasks. This improves operational efficiency and allows resources to be allocated effectively for enhanced security measures.
Integrating X-ray security scanners into the security infrastructure of police stations, military bases, and special operations can significantly bolster their security posture and protect against potential threats and risks.

Are the police body scanners safe?
All LINEV Systems® police body scanners are compliant with the ANSI/HPS standard N43.17-2009 for radiation safety and have been certified by Intertek ETL as meeting UL 61010-1:2004 Ed.2 requirements for electrical and mechanical safety.
Does your police X-ray scanner provide automated detection capabilities?
Yes, LINEV Systems® DruGuard is the only patented and commercially available narcotics detection feature for police body scanners on the market. DruGuard provides a color-coded marking on the scan and a % probability of detection window. At the same time, DruGuard does not fully replace the operator.
What is the best way to measure the image quality of a police X-ray body scanner?
Image quality perceived by operators is determined by a combination of Wire Resolution, Contrast Sensitivity, and Penetration. Therefore we recommend dose and image quality is verified for any settings offered by manufacturers.
What training is required?
Our standard course is a trained eight (8) hour class comprised of state-specific Radiation Safety, System Operation, Administrator Functions, and approximately 2.5 hours of image interpretation training. Using tablets to display real-world image examples to operators provides highly effective instruction on the use, methodology, and best practices in reviewing images.
What is your service support?
LINEV Systems® layered approach to service is comprised of 200+ dedicated and channel partner field service engineers. Our 24/7/365 toll-free support center escalates trouble tickets to our FSE’s who respond within 2-4 hours. Our team also leverages LINEV Systems® military and police X-ray scanners with built in remote diagnostics to expedite diagnosis and minimize downtime.
