Using our FOBOS XR Body Scanner, you can obtain high-resolution images of bones, soft tissues and organs in less than 30 seconds. It’s ideal for obtaining quality evidence that adheres to forensic guidelines.
With high penetration capability (Al – min. 12″, by H2O – 32″), you can use this device for the examination of road traffic accidents, suicide cases, as well as homicides, drownings, or other difficult situations.

With a load capacity of up to 350 lbs, the FOBOS XR is a multifunctional imaging system that supports medical and law enforcement professionals in the process of autopsy, identification, investigation and prosecution.
The system allows the capture of both AP and lateral scans (scans at any angle from 0 to 110° as an additional option). With a high quality CCD sensor, it captures high resolution images with minimal noise, allowing easy diagnosis of clear structures.
The FOBOS XR is an advanced system capable of capturing high-resolution X-ray images of a body for non-invasive forensic pathology examinations. With the ability to capture detailed and clear images, it enables pathologists to determine causes of death and to assess the damage caused by trauma. The FOBOS XR can provide detailed analysis that is required for research into human tissue, organs and bones that are often outside of traditional imaging capabilities.
Embedded software
The FOBOS scanner is built on an intuitive design, easy-to-operate touch screen and advanced PACS data management software package. This system allows intuitive control of the scanner and provides advanced image editing through its PACS system.
Adjustable X-ray cart
The adjustable FOBOS x-ray cart is designed with up to 340 kg (750 lbs) capacity. The significant width of the x-ray cart helps operators deal with larger size bodies. FOBOS XR X-ray tabletop is made of perfectly translucent carbon-fiber material with no artifacts visible on the images. The cart is equipped with 120 mm height adjustment mechanism and convenient wheels for body transportation.
