Description
The knife-collimator is an indispensable accessory for high-accuracy measurement at narrow diffraction angles. If the knife-collimator is not used at narrow angles, it leads to unwanted illumination of the linear detector by scattered X-ray radiation. This significantly distorts the diffraction pattern.
The knife-collimator is easily mounted in the working area and can be operated either manually or automatically by positioning it according to the goniometer arms.
